The danger of falsehood in politics is not merely that it deceives; it is that it attempts to make failure look like achievement. When political actors repeatedly parade claims without corresponding evidence, they should not assume that the people are nitwits, blocked heads, or incapable of distinguishing propaganda from reality.
I write as a son of Ezeukwu, a community in Bende North, Umunna, where the reality on ground is far removed from the picture being painted by some self-styled champions and development czars. If Ezeukwu and Bende North has supposedly been transformed into an Eldorado, then the question is simple: where are the projects? Where are the visible footprints of this celebrated development amid the obvious infrastructure decay?
The modest interventions we have witnessed, to my knowledge, have largely come from the Abia State Government and the APC, not from those who routinely claim across Bende North that everywhere has been developed.
Even more troubling is the much-publicised Ifu-Ama Bridge. After years of campaign promises, where is the legislative action? Has even a single substantive motion been passed on that critical infrastructure? If such an important need of a community has not received meaningful legislative attention, what exactly are we celebrating?
Nobody should hide under the achievements of Governor Alex Otti to launder an unproductive record. The Governor deserves credit for his visible efforts to transform Abia, but appropriating his achievements to manufacture political credentials is neither honest nor productive.
Umunna deserves representation that legislates, advocates, attracts projects and confronts the challenges of its people. And where political rotation is a consideration, Alayi's turn must also be respected.
Ndi Abia and Ndi Bende North are not clowns. They can see, compare and judge.
And to those who cloak political propaganda in religious language while recycling themselves every election season: Odiegwu oh!
If time permits, I will publish documented evidence of the infrastructure decay in Ezeukwu and the issues that deserve legislative attention which I also believe is thesame with other communities of Umunna. Let the people see the facts and decide for themselves.
2027 will determine another four years. Make una shine una eyes.

Dr. Jonas Okorie Udensi is not only capable and competent to represent the good of Bende North Umunna, he has a life outside politics. As a successful lawyer with a functional law practice (chamber) he sure has an address; his making himself available is to serve the good people of Umunna genuinely and not use them to somehow fortify an already crumbling CV and Image.
Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, the Executive Governor of Abia State should, take note of these realities...
